First off, I'm super-duper stoked to be typing up this blog entry on my new (used) mac mini. I was devastated after my mischievous kitty broke my macbook pro by knocking it off my desk. But now I'm back in the blogosphere.
Even better news... I bought my new (used) computer with money from jewelry sales. Slowly but surely I am making a living off all things beads. This is most definitely a dream come true.
Lastly, speaking of good news and dreams coming true, I WAS JURIED INTO LARK'S SHOWCASE 500 BEADED JEWELRY! Sorry...for the "screaming caps" but really, I'm excited. When I read the two emails saying that my "Rolly Chain" and my "Sacred Heart Lei" were excepted into the book I was truly exstatic. Hopefully my downstairs neighbor wasn't too disturbed by my epic fit of squealing and jumping up and down.
This is my first time being included in a book or magazine.... or anything. I have been beading for 10 years and have always admired the beautiful books put out by Lark. And now... I am in one, alongside almost every "bead hero" I've ever had.
wow...... I may have to start jumping up and down again.
