Magda Sayek is a serious badass. She is behind the graffiti crew Knitta Please who has been operating since 2005. This year she was commissioned by Art City Austin to install some work in the streets of downtown Austin. It was a delightful and surprising discovery. I posted some more photos behind the cut.
This panel is my favorite. Partly because I like pink and it looks like candy, but mostly because it answered my burning question: "What happens when you crochet a granny square with variegated yarn?"
